Consumers may submit their complaints through the online dispute resolution platform. This new platform of the European Commission offers online sellers and buyers an alternative to mediate in their possible conflicts generated by online sales. With this new European claim system, the aim is to open a channel for citizens with institutions in the field of e-commerce.
To access the new platform, it is made available to users of the European Community, where consumers can raise their problems, as if it were a national conflict resolution body.
